Thread to discuss anything specifically relating to the Ipswich VTS in the Eastern Deanery.

Please double check that others would not benefit from your post being in one of the non rotation-specific boards first.

Post an introductory message in this thread, so that other members of your VTS know you're on board!

Hey guys,

Some useful stuff on this forum. Not sure what the value of communicating to the group via this but perhaps linking our wiki to this forum would let other VTS's know what we get up to.

Cheers

Hi Akash, welcome to the forum  Smiley

Good thinking with linking the wiki - can you post the link in this thread so others can refer to it?

I agree re the limited use here for discussions if you have a decent set-up already at your VTS, but also hoping to build up a network of trainees who can interact at a national level.  In turn, hopefully helping with people build up contacts e.g. when moving areas for jobs etc.

Often jobs in certain areas only get advertised locally, and there are always people who want to move patch for family reasons and so on.

On that note, if there are others on your VTS who you think national discussions would appeal to, please spread the word - would greatly appreciate it!
